Videos, real-life tests and demonstrations of our automatic fire suppression systems

See how our solutions work through real-life tests, fire suppression demonstrations, installation guides and technical presentations for electrical panels, cabinets, server racks and professional equipment.

The videos on this page illustrate how AeroXFireshield solutions operate. Final system sizing always depends on the protected volume, ventilation and the actual equipment configuration.

Electrical enclosures and panels

Real automatic fire suppression tests

These demonstrations show the fire outbreak, automatic system activation, discharge of the fire-suppressing aerosol and suppression of the fire inside an enclosed volume.

AeroXFireshield AX33

Real-life test inside an electrical panel

The video shows the AX33 activating automatically inside an electrical panel and the condensed aerosol acting directly next to the fire outbreak.

StickerPro 1

Suppressing a fire outbreak inside an electrical enclosure

An ultra-compact device acts directly inside the enclosure to stop the fire before it spreads through the electrical installation.

A video demonstration does not replace a technical assessment. The amount of extinguishing agent, detection-line length and device position must be adapted to the volume, ventilation and geometry of each installation.
IT equipment protection

Fire suppression test inside a 600-litre server rack

Server racks contain continuously powered equipment and several potential heat sources. Protection integrated inside the rack can operate before the fire spreads to the rest of the technical room.

Short version

Fire suppression test summary

A concise format showing the fire outbreak, system activation and the result achieved inside the rack.

Full version

Full test protocol and result assessment

This version follows the test preparation, activation, aerosol discharge and fire suppression throughout the protected volume.

Installation and operation

Position the detection line as close as possible to risk components

System effectiveness depends on correct sizing and a detection-line route designed to monitor the actual areas where overheating may occur.

Technical guide

Installation, activation and manufacturing in Perpignan

This video presents device positioning, detection-line routing, the activation and suppression principles, and the French manufacturing of AeroXSense solutions.

1

Follow each row of risk components

The detection cable runs above circuit breakers, terminal blocks, variable-speed drives, contactors and other components that may overheat.

2

Cover the entire relevant volume

The route must cover all sensitive areas rather than simply following the perimeter of the enclosure or cabinet.

3

Check system sizing

The internal volume, ventilation openings and equipment layout determine the model and number of generators required.

Larger volumes

Series installation and cascade activation

Several devices can be combined when one generator is insufficient for the protected volume. This configuration provides coordinated activation and the appropriate total quantity of extinguishing agent.

Technical demonstration

Assembly, crimping and activation of multiple devices

The video details detection continuity, crimping and the cascade-activation principle used to protect larger cabinets, racks and technical assemblies.

Frequently asked questions

Understanding operation and installation

How does an automatic condensed-aerosol fire suppression system work?
When activated, the generator discharges a fire-suppressing aerosol that acts on the combustion reaction. Its purpose is to suppress the fire outbreak inside the protected volume before it spreads.
Does the system operate without human intervention?
Yes. Detection and activation are automatic, allowing the system to operate even when no one is near the panel, cabinet or rack.
Does the device depend on the protected equipment’s power supply?
The autonomous solutions are designed to activate without relying on the protected equipment’s electrical power supply. Monitoring or status-reporting options may, however, require a dedicated interface.
How is the required number of devices determined?
Sizing depends on internal volume, ventilation, enclosure geometry, the type of equipment and the position of openings. Several generators can be combined for larger volumes.
Can several devices be installed in series?
Yes. A series installation can provide cascade activation. Detection-line assembly and crimping must comply with the defined technical configuration.
What should be done after activation?
The installation must be made safe and the cause of the fire identified and corrected. The activated device must then be replaced before the equipment is returned to service.
Where are AeroXFireshield solutions manufactured?
AeroXSense develops and assembles its solutions in Perpignan, France, for the protection of small electrical, technical and industrial volumes.
